inbox.ky — Acceptable Use & Fair Usage Policy
Last updated: 8 June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses the inbox.ky Service and forms part of our Terms of Service. It exists to keep inbox.ky safe, reliable, and reputable for everyone. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms.
If you break this AUP we may, with or without notice, throttle, suspend, or terminate your use, remove content, and/or report you to the authorities.
1. Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to store, send, forward, or link to content that:
- is illegal under Cayman Islands law or other applicable law;
- is child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we have zero tolerance, will remove it, preserve evidence, and report it to law enforcement immediately;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, or facilitates phishing or identity theft;
- infringes intellectual property or misappropriates others’ rights;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or incites violence or hatred;
- contains or distributes malware, ransomware, or other harmful code.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- send spam or unsolicited bulk/commercial email (see Section 3);
- impersonate any person or organisation, or forge headers/identifiers;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or data, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorisation;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users (e.g. mail bombing, denial of service, deliberate mail loops);
- use the Service to operate an open relay or to launder/relay third-party bulk mail;
- resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted in writing.
3. Anti-spam
- Do not use inbox.ky to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages.
- Any marketing you send must comply with applicable anti-spam laws (e.g. consent/opt-in requirements, accurate headers, a valid physical address, and a working unsubscribe mechanism), such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and the GDPR/ePrivacy rules where they apply to your recipients.
- You are responsible for having a lawful basis and recipient consent for messages you send.
- We monitor for spam signals and may rate-limit, filter, or block traffic to protect deliverability and our sending reputation.
4. Fair usage
The Service is for normal personal or business email use. To keep it fast and reliable for everyone:
- usage must be reasonable and not abusive of shared resources; we may set and adjust limits on sending rates, recipients per message, message size, storage, forwarding volume, and similar;
- forward-only (Identity) addresses are for forwarding your own legitimate mail to your own inbox — not for relaying bulk mail, running mailing lists, or high-volume automated traffic;
- automated/programmatic use must stay within any published limits and must not degrade the Service for others;
- we may contact you to adjust usage before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is needed to protect the Service or others.
Specific numeric limits (storage, rate, size) will be published with each plan and may be updated on reasonable notice.
5. Security & integrity
- Keep your credentials secure and your account free of compromise.
- Do not use the Service to distribute another person’s data unlawfully.
- Report vulnerabilities responsibly to
abuse@inbox.ky; do not exploit them.
6. Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may: warn you; throttle or filter traffic; remove or disable content; suspend or terminate the account; retain and disclose information to authorities as permitted or required by law. We aim to be proportionate, but we may act immediately where there is risk of harm, illegality, or damage to the Service or its reputation. Suspension or termination for AUP breaches does not entitle you to a refund.
7. Reporting abuse
To report spam, abuse, security issues, or illegal content involving inbox.ky,
contact abuse@inbox.ky with details (headers, timestamps, examples). We
investigate reports and act where appropriate.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP. The current version is posted here with its date; material changes take effect on reasonable notice.
